River Exe approx Bolham to Tiverton but depends on rain etc. Meet at the club to leave by 08.00 - we'll usually unlock by 07:30 & early bird gets the dry/best boats.
On average it's about a 2:15 drive. Often with longer shuttles run on a very narrow tractor filled roads. We may not be home before 19:00.
Please register if you intend to come, it has boat carrying details, plus emergency contact details that make it a little easier for the organisers.
What to bring - the usual stuff but not forgetting- Warm paddling kit, it could be cold? A hot drink could be a must have - an unbreakable flask (attached) in the back of your boat. Food - high energy food is best (flapjacks/Mars bars/banana etc. are good) Dry warm clothes to get changed into post paddle.
A extra food for the organiser.
Transport - general info We share the cost of the fuel (180-220+ miles so could be around £30-£50 per car). If Wales we'll have the £6.60 toll to pay. Organiser Jon
