Last chance before the fishing season kicks off, so paddle now or get a fishing fly in your eye.
Expect to see all those paddlers who have been hibernating through the  winter. (they’ll be moaning about how short the winter season is, that their drysuit/cag has shrunk and that they are another year older).

Meet at the club to leave by 08.00 - Probably super warm and wet.

On average it's about a 2:15 drive. Often with longer shuttles run on a very narrow tractor filled roads. We probably won't be home much before 19:00.

Please register if you intend to come, it has boat carrying details, plus emergency contact details that make it a little easier for the organisers.

What to bring - the usual stuff but not forgetting-
Warm paddling kit, shovels, it could be cold?
A hot drink could be a must have - an unbreakable flask (attached) in the back of your boat.
Food - high energy food is best (flapjacks/Mars bars/banana etc. are good)
Dry warm clothes to get changed into post paddle.

A home made stick of rock for the organiser.

Transport
We share the cost of the fuel (220+ miles so could be around £30-£50 per car). If Wales we'll have the £6.50 toll to pay.
