Go Canoeing Starter Sessions - postponed

This starter session has been postponed for safety reasons as the river is currently very high.
 
This is a starter session lasting 3 hrs and will cover a basic intro to the sport in either a kayak, an open canadian or a Sit-on-top, whichever you wish. 

This will be run under the new BCU skills syllabus and a Paddlepower Start certificate will be issued. This course is aimed at beginners or those restarting canoeing and at the moment will be limited to a max of 15 people. 

More interest will need more coaches. Adults and children( over age 12) are welcome. For parents, coaches are CRB checked and we have a Child Protection Policy and code of conduct. 

All canoeing equipment will be provided but you will need your own clothing plus a lightweight anorak and gym shoes that will get dirty and wet. 

Cost , which includes £4 day membership for our insurance, is £10. 

Full changing and shower facilities are available in the Clubhouse.
