Come along and join us for an Aquapaddle 5k at Bathampton wharf on Sunday 23 March at 9am. As a change and with the likelihood of high levels and fast flows this is being held on the canal rather than the the River Avon.
The event is a social, open to all craft, timed but at your own pace, gentle paddle and the course is a 2.5km along the canal towards Bath and then come back. Arrive for the briefing from 9 with a start at 10am.
There are No facilities for changing and hot showers We suggest you park in the George Carpark and use them for refreshments afterwards.
To take part:
1 - Sign up as an Aquapaddler using this link: https://www.aquapaddle.org then press the “Sign Up Now” button and after giving a few details at Sign-Up you will be given an Aquapaddle tag number.
2 - Select the Bathampton event you want and register to it using your tag number. Details of our location are on the AquaPaddle Bathampton page under Location at the bottom of the page.
3 - Come along on the day!
