A ONE DAY SEA TRIP
OPEN TO ANYONE WHO HAS PASSED ITP

Saturday October 19th to Devon or Dorset.
If you are
not
3*
you must
register
if you intend to come. Places are limited to ensure a sensible ratio between 3* and less experienced paddlers.

If you are
under 18
you must be accompanied by a responsible adult (who also needs to register for the trip).
This trip will be led by BCC members who are 3* paddlers. You are expected to take responsibility for your own kit and general safety.

Kit:
Sea kayak, spray deck, paddle, helmet, buoyancy aid. Warm paddling clothes eg wetsuit and cag, or drysuit. 2 sets of warm clothes, one for the boat in a dry bag, one for the car. Towel. Hot drink in a flask. Water. Lunch and snacks. Change for parking and post paddle coffee.
Transport.
We usually share transport. Petrol and parking costs are shared between passenger and driver. We usually carry 2 sea kayaks per car.
Location:
Devon or Dorset, possibly Sidmouth depending on weather, sea state, group. Journey time 2 hours. Meet at the club at 7.30 to leave at 8.
