The forecast is looking good for another beautiful paddle along the stunning coast from Combe Martin, heading west towards Ilfracombe and Lee Bay. Loads of sunshine, a light NW wind meaning there will be a small amount of swell, and ice creams on our return. LW is at 11:29 but the ebb runs later according to the tide charts.
Meet at Combe Martin car park (grid SS 577 472, EX34 0DN) at 09:30 so that we can get onto the water swiftly and make the most of the ebbing tide. It's low water springs so we will have a bit of a walk out to the water so trolleys are encouraged.
The conditions should not be challenging hence offering this to Improver standard paddlers.
Usual warnings of plan change if conditions change.
