We normally go to St David's area for our Pembrokeshire week-ends but the tides seem to be good for the north Pembrokeshire coast. It's a great paddle around Dinas island and then NE along the coast. The westerly stream starts at Milford Haven + 4 hrs which means on Sat is around 12:00 and an hour later on Sun.
My outline plan is to camp at Dinas Island Campsite, SA42 0SE, Grid SN 010 402. Aim to travel on Fri so that we can start reasonably early on Sat - but not unreasonably early! There is a reasonable pub at the beach.
With reasonably strong tidal streams and few landing sites this trip is graded Intermediate.
