The Ilfracombe area offers a wide range of options and with good weather (I've jinxed it now) and still in Aug it should be an ideal opportunity for Improvers to progress. This won't be a training session per se but I hope that we'll have time to journey and check out some skills. The event is over 3 days and folks can attend any combination of days, but please say when registering.
I've opted for LIttle Roadway Campsite to stay but will confirm that closer to the time. It is high season and Bank Holiday so prices and choice are less attractive but this site is a good compromise.
The tides are at springs, ebbing in the morning and flood in the afternoon. This means that launching from Lee Bay, Hele Bay or Combe Martin are all attractive. I'll publish the exact plan closer to the time.

You must bring suitable equipment or make arrangements for someone to bring it for you (eg. kayak). See what to bring.
